Green beans rock!

Let's just say Laney took to green beans better than she did cereal. Today she had her first green vegetable (the afore mentioned beans) and she ate the 3rd of a jar I served her right up. Takes after her sister I guess. We used to refer to Kat as the "Green Bean Fiend". Or it could be all the green beans she got in utero.

It finally fits!

We've got one more cousin (on my side this time) coming May. He apparently has the interesting nickname of Deuteronomy.

Simple pleasures

I sit on my couch blogging, holding a precious sleeping baby girl. My tummy is full (yum, pizza). Work was busy but doable this week. Our new nephew was born this week and Mommy and baby are doing well. Kathryn is bringing her grades up and such as great kid.

I need moments like these - of contentment, of time to thank God for all I have been given, to balance out those all too often times of "why me?"
