For Mel

This is Mel at Mel's Haven. The song is "All I really want for Christmas" by Steven Curtis Chapman, a great advocate for adoption. It's hanky time, folks.

Heather

I am at work (with Morgie) so I can't watch the video, but I can not wait to get home and watch it. I did hear the song and cried for about 30 minutes. It definitely made me take a little extra time last night to love on my baby girl. I have always loved the idea of foreign adoption or adoption in general and looked into Steven Curtis Chapmans Shaohannah's Hope program before starting to foster. This song tells the story that these kids live every day. It was amazing and deeply touched me. I can't wait to tell my cousins who adopted their 2 foster kids about it. Thanks for thinking of me when you heard this song and telling me about it, Heather.

I certainly never knew what great new friends I would make when I started blogging!

I can't get it to play on my puter, it keep stopping about 10 seconds in.
From what I did hear (and hope to hear the rest soon) as an adoptee I am already moved and plan to look into Steven Curtis Chapman's program...sounds like the perfect place to make a donation for the holidays!

OK, I was just able to view it all and Mel is right (sniff), what moving images and powerful words. Reminds me how blessed I was to be adopted and have the wonderful family that I do! Thanks for sharing that Mel, I'm passing it on to my parents and siblings to see too. SO touching...
